Marcus Williams is a 29-year-old Chicago native who maintains the local directory website chicagoguide.online. Born and raised on the South Side, he launched his online guide after noticing that many Chicagoans weren't fully aware of the incredible diversity of local businesses beyond the downtown Loop and popular tourist areas. What started as sharing neighborhood gems with friends has grown into a comprehensive web platform showcasing everything from family-owned barbershops in Bronzeville to authentic taco joints in Pilsen.
